WMS Cloud Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design and architecture of Oracle Cloud WMS solutions tailored to business and warehouse needs.

• Manage comprehensive Oracle Cloud WMS implementations, encompassing solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and support.

• Configure and enhance processes related to receiving, putaway, picking, packing, shipping, replenishment, and cycle counting.

• Create integrations between Oracle Cloud WMS and Oracle Fusion SCM modules such as Inventory, Order Management, Procurement, and Manufacturing.

• Design and maintain integrations with 3PL systems, external applications, and warehouse automation technologies.

• Define warehouse structures, including subinventories, locators, LPNs, inventory organizations, and task management.

• Configure wave planning, task management, replenishment, allocation, and picking strategies.

• Assess business requirements and convert them into functional and technical WMS solutions.

• Facilitate technical discussions with business stakeholders, functional teams, and integration teams.

• Evaluate integration designs, data flows, and technical specifications.

• Provide support for SIT, UAT, deployment, production issues, and troubleshooting activities.

• Identify performance and process challenges and suggest suitable WMS solutions.

• Develop solution design documents, technical specifications, configuration documents, and integration documentation.

• Guide and mentor WMS consultants, offering technical support to the implementation team.

• Proven hands-on experience in Oracle Cloud WMS implementation and solution architecture.

• Background in warehouse process design.

• Proficiency in WMS configuration.

• Experience with integrations.

• Knowledge of inbound and outbound processes.

• Familiarity with inventory management, picking, and putaway operations.

• Comprehensive end-to-end implementation experience.

• Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).

• Proficiency in REST/SOAP APIs.

• Experience with FBDI.

• Understanding of Oracle Fusion SCM modules, including Inventory, Order Management, Procurement, and Manufacturing.

• Knowledge of integrations with 3PL, external applications, and warehouse automation systems.

• Familiarity with warehouse structures, including subinventories, locators, LPNs, inventory organizations, and task management.

• Knowledge of wave planning, task management, replenishment, allocation, and picking strategies.

• Ability to analyze business requirements and convert them into effective WMS functional and technical solutions.

• Capability to lead technical discussions with business stakeholders, functional teams, and integration teams.

• Ability to review integration designs, data flows, and technical specifications.

• Experience in supporting SIT, UAT, deployment, production issues, and troubleshooting.
