This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee LAN infrastructures, including wireless access points (WAPs), wireless LAN controllers, and their integration into Software Defined Access (SDA) systems.
• Supervise and execute switch provisioning (configuration) and implementation across various locations, including managing cutover logistics and change management processes.
• Set up network monitoring for newly installed and replaced devices.
• Provide support and operate Software-Defined Wide Area Networks (SD-WAN) locations.
• Maintain and support network equipment and configurations, including routers and routing protocols.
• Employ and implement network orchestration tools and techniques to enable automated and consistent configurations, management, testing, deployment, and operations of both physical and virtual devices within the network.
• Oversee the status, errors, and traffic statistics of all routing interfaces, including bandwidth utilization and errors for all inbound and outbound LAN/WAN circuits.
• Offer consulting services to professional staff and clients in analyzing and designing data processing systems, management systems, scientific systems, and related areas.
• Make technical decisions regarding the types of data to be collected and the methodologies for data gathering and analysis.
• Must possess a Public Trust Clearance or the capability to obtain one.
• ITILv4 Foundation Certification is required within 120 days of the start date.
• Prior experience with vulnerability patching and IOS upgrades is essential.
• Previous experience in supporting and operating Software-Defined Wide Area Networks (SD-WAN) is necessary.
• Should demonstrate a comprehensive understanding across key tasks and significant assignments.
• Act as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
• Capable of designing and developing solutions for complex application problems, system administration challenges, or network issues.
• Perform systems management and integration duties effectively.
• Proven ability to work autonomously in a fully or partially remote environment with minimal supervision.
• Must possess strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of staff and clients.
• Required to maintain standard working hours in accordance with the DIGIT contract and be available for meetings and collaborative efforts during those hours.
• Should have expertise in handling multiple complex work assignments that may require creativity and innovation to complete tasks.
