Senior Network Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level network infrastructure solutions.

• Serve as a technical leader within Fortinet, Cisco, and Meraki environments.

• Provide support and guidance on hybrid networking projects that incorporate Microsoft Azure.

• Collaborate in the design and enhancement of Azure networking elements, such as VNets, VPN connections, NSGs, and hybrid integrations.

• Assist clients in navigating technical choices, delivering recommendations with clarity and confidence.

• Work alongside leadership teams on pre-sales efforts, solution crafting, and technical scoping.

• Oversee network deployments, upgrades, migrations, and optimization projects.

• Diagnose and resolve intricate networking problems while offering expert-level operational assistance.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, implementation manuals, and best practices.

• Support post-implementation activities to ensure lasting success and stability.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to achieve outstanding results.

• Engage in scheduled upgrade windows and maintenance tasks as needed.

• Contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives and facilitate onboarding processes within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in network engineering or infrastructure engineering positions.

• Strong practical knowledge of Fortinet technologies, Cisco networking solutions, and Cisco Meraki environments.

• Experience in supporting enterprise infrastructure in client-facing settings.

• Familiarity with Azure networking principles, including Virtual Networks (VNets), VPN Gateway, Network Security Groups (NSGs), and hybrid connectivity frameworks.

• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving abilities.

• Proven capability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience in developing technical documentation and implementation protocols.

• A proactive mindset with the capacity to excel in remote work environments.

• Strong communication skills coupled with a collaborative approach to project delivery.
