This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Lead and provide oversight for a multi-site service hub.
• Initiate and assist with staffing needs, coaching, training, and corrective actions for employees and contracted partners, including succession planning.
• Take ownership of the safety culture within the hub, which includes contracted partners and customers.
• Conduct daily Plan of the Day calls, prioritizing and managing the dispatch schedule effectively.
• Employ a customer-centric approach to foster long-term relationships with clients, aiming to achieve business objectives and fulfill contractual obligations.
• Collaborate with the Customer Performance Director to prioritize and escalate customer issues.
• Work alongside cross-functional teams such as Sales, Commercial Operations, Sourcing, Finance, and HR to fulfill deliverables.
• Focus on turbine performance to ensure commitments are met or exceeded.
• Demonstrate innovation and engagement in all aspects of facility operations, aligned with site-specific plans, including creative problem-solving using a LEAN approach.
• Oversee operations across a multi-site service hub, ensuring regular visits to each site while driving a strong safety focus.
• Continue to strengthen customer relationships.
• Promote team engagement and foster talent development.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including leadership roles.
• At least 3 years of experience in field services or a similar role within the energy sector.
• Willingness and ability to travel within the hub, which may include overnight stays.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
• Technical Certification in Wind Energy or a related Electrical/Electronic field is advantageous.
• Proficient in advanced computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheet programs, email applications, facility control, management systems, and diagnostic tools.
• Experience in the wind turbine or energy industry is essential.
• Advanced knowledge in electrical, mechanical, and/or hydraulic systems, including proficiency in using hydraulic power tools.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment for facility maintenance, including a working understanding of crane and rigging requirements.
• Strong writing skills needed to fulfill contractual reporting requirements as necessary.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Operations and Maintenance best practices, including planning, organizing, coordinating, executing, and controlling wind hub activities, productivity improvements, and operational excellence in outage management.
• Excellent leadership abilities, adaptability to change, and the capacity to influence others.
• Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Ability, willingness, and adaptability to take initiative and work independently.
• Advanced computer skills utilizing word processing, spreadsheet programs, email applications, facility control, management systems, and troubleshooting tools.
• Experience in the wind turbine or energy industry.
• Advanced electrical, mechanical, and/or hydraulic experience, including proficiency with hydraulic power tools.
• Experience using heavy equipment required for facility maintenance, along with knowledge of crane and rigging requirements.
• Strong writing skills to fulfill contractual reporting obligations, as needed.
