This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Responsible for managing the technical service portfolio and promotional initiatives.
• Utilizes expertise on our capabilities to identify adjacent and untapped areas for new business opportunities.
• Conducts opportunity assessments, formulates business cases and recommendations for the leadership team, and spearheads approved initiatives.
• Supports all pharmaceutical new product commercialization projects, serving as the technical authority and support for the Sales team.
• Analyzes drug patent data to establish a project pipeline with both current and prospective customers.
• Acts as the industry-facing representative and subject matter expert on critical topics.
• Recognizes risks and opportunities within the evolving market landscape.
• Organizes promotional events such as tradeshows and technical symposiums.
• Cultivates relationships with key stakeholders at customer and industry partner organizations.
• Collects and communicates the voice of the customer and market insights to the wider team.
• Collaborates closely with Marketing Communications to create product-specific content for advertising campaigns and trade exhibitions.
• Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S. – Business/Marketing major preferred).
• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in market/business development roles within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of engineered materials, with a preference for experience in plastics.
• International market experience in the pharmaceutical sector with a thorough understanding of B2B markets.
• Knowledge of selling and marketing to large multinational corporations, value-added resellers, and converters.
• A strategic thinker with solid technical skills, analytical capabilities, strong operational focus, and sound judgment and reasoning abilities.
• Proficiency in English is essential.
