Manager – Corporate Disbursements

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversees the management of daily accounting functions for the general ledger, which includes reconciling and verifying company cash receipts, disbursements, fixed assets, and processing administration systems along with the related tax compliance activities.

• Directs research efforts to ascertain the accounting implications arising from changes in corporate operations.

• Oversees the development, design, testing, and analysis of improvements to both new and existing financial and processing administration systems and programs.

• Develops and supervises process enhancements and the enactment of new policies and procedures.

• Coordinates the business unit’s involvement in corporate initiatives and projects.

• Manages the preparation of the department budget, monitors its performance, and initiates corrective measures as necessary.

• Engages in processes related to the selection, hiring, training, and development of assigned personnel within the department.

• Provides leadership and mentorship to the financial accounting team, inspiring and motivating staff members to meet expectations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Experience with both manual and automated accounting and cash processes.

• Proficient in preparing financial reports using user-oriented programming languages, including spreadsheet applications.

• Skilled in evaluating and utilizing various software packages.

• Experience in implementing or developing automated systems within a user environment.

• Capable of managing and developing staff.

• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

• Expertise in project and process management.

• Ability to determine and direct work assignments and projects.

• Experience in developing business plans and budgets.
