This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +29 more states.
• Facilitate effective communication between our approved brokers and the Quontic wholesale team members in a timely and responsive manner to guarantee that all closing deadlines are achieved, ensuring a top-tier experience for both brokers and borrowers.
• Gather and systematically organize all required documentation, such as P&L statements, wvoe documents, bank statements, and other financial records from applicants and external sources.
• Maintain consistent communication with loan officers, brokers, and third-party vendors to provide updates on loan statuses, address inquiries, and acquire any missing information.
• Ensure that all loan files are accurately documented, organized, and tracked within the loan origination system, complying with bank policies and regulatory standards.
• Prepare and submit completed loan packages to underwriting for approval, including reviewing conditions and promptly addressing any outstanding issues.
• Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding mortgage lending, as well as internal policies and procedures, to guarantee full compliance throughout the loan process.
• Conduct thorough reviews of loan files to identify and resolve potential issues or discrepancies, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to borrowers, loan officers, and other stakeholders throughout the loan process, promptly addressing their concerns and inquiries.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements, contributing to the ongoing enhancement of loan processing procedures.
• Mentor and support junior loan processors, providing guidance and expertise to aid in their professional growth.
• Undertake special projects and additional duties as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree (or its equivalent); OR an associate degree along with two (2) years of relevant experience; OR a high school diploma (or its equivalent) plus four (4) years of relevant experience.
• An additional one (1) year of progressive experience in the relevant field.
• Proven skills and experience with Non-QM mortgage loan products and documentation requirements, underwriting guidelines, and investor guidelines for wholesale channels.
• Must possess a working knowledge of compliance regulations that govern mortgage lending and loan processing.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and familiarity with technologies such as loan origination systems (LOS), with Encompass preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills to identify errors, discrepancies, and potential risks.
• A willingness to pursue ongoing education, certifications, and other opportunities for advancement within the organization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present confidently.
