This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Take ownership of Affirm’s most significant Canadian partner relationships, fostering growth and establishing long-term strategies across various business units.
• Define and steer the strategic vision for each partnership—aligning mutual priorities with Affirm’s wider objectives and influencing senior stakeholders from both sides.
• Create detailed account plans; develop and implement multi-year growth roadmaps that include product integrations, co-marketing initiatives, and market expansion strategies.
• Lead intricate commercial negotiations, covering contracts, pricing, renewal strategies, and opportunities for expansion.
• Assess partner performance and propose programs aimed at enhancing adoption, boosting performance, and venturing into new use cases.
• Coordinate cross-functional execution among Product, Technical, Credit, Analytics, Marketing, Risk, and other internal stakeholders to achieve partner initiatives and business results.
• Oversee customer health to ensure high satisfaction levels, long-term retention, and consistent business outcomes.
• Over 7 years of experience in B2B client-facing roles, preferably within a tech or fintech setting.
• Exceptional customer relationship management capabilities with a proven track record of leading and expanding complex, strategic partnerships at the executive level.
• Proven experience in managing cross-functional, multi-stakeholder initiatives with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (e.g., proposals, memos, emails, presentations); concise, structured, and credible with the ability to sway senior stakeholders and executive audiences.
• Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to identify key data points and trends, and effectively communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in structuring, negotiating, and finalizing large-scale commercial contracts.
• Ability to quickly adjust to changing priorities, take initiative, and exceed defined responsibilities to ensure project success and benefit the broader team.
• Capability to craft compelling value propositions, deliver persuasive presentations, and engage stakeholders to meet business objectives.
• Preferred knowledge of consumer finance products, SaaS solutions, and e-commerce.
• Proficiency with Salesforce, AI, and BI tools.
