📋 Description

• A well-performing partnership portfolio that showcases measurable outcomes — each partnership within your responsibility meets established objectives, ensuring clear accountability for performance, contract adherence, and the identification and implementation of continuous improvement opportunities.

• Renewed and renegotiated commercial agreements that generate additional value — you have spearheaded complex negotiations with Fortune 500 partners, collaborated with Finance and Legal to develop deal models, and finalized terms that align with both Instacart’s business goals and the strategic interests of the partner.

• Cross-functional execution that ensures partnerships remain on track — Legal, Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Finance recognize you as the essential link: the individual who proactively identifies issues, drives swift resolutions, and maintains full transparency with partners.

• Trusted senior relationships within partner organizations — you have established credibility not only with everyday contacts but also with senior leaders at each partner, representing Instacart externally at QBRs and industry conferences with authority and professionalism.

• A multi-year strategic roadmap for your partnerships — you have gone beyond managing existing relationships; you have pinpointed new opportunities for expansion, shaped the long-term vision for each partnership, and fostered alignment both internally and externally regarding the future direction of these collaborations.


⛳️ Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or strategic account management, showcasing a proven track record of managing intricate, multi-stakeholder relationships from start to finish.

• Proven capability to structure and negotiate commercial agreements, including the development of deal models in collaboration with Finance and Legal teams.

• Outstanding relationship management abilities, with a talent for building trust at various levels within a partner organization and handling challenging conversations with credibility and tact.

• Strong cross-functional operator — you facilitate alignment across Legal, Product, Marketing, and Finance simultaneously, maintaining momentum without needing substantial oversight.

• Proficiency in managing operational complexity across a large, active partnership portfolio.
