Werkstudent Engineering Batteriespeichersysteme/BESS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will assist in the technical assessment of the feasibility of battery storage projects (BESS).

• You will plan and develop battery storage systems from conception to execution and support commissioning and acceptance processes.

• You will assist with approval procedures and accompany grid connection processes.

• You will oversee the implementation and quality assurance during the project phase, analyze existing systems, and optimize processes.

• You will serve as a liaison to grid operators, authorities, and other internal as well as external stakeholders.

• You will help in the creation of measurement concepts for various operating models.

⛳️ Requirements

• Enrolled student (m/f/d) in electrical engineering, energy technology, or a related field.

• Initial experience in the planning and implementation of energy projects, ideally in the field of battery storage (BESS) is a plus.

• Solid knowledge of grid connection planning and relevant standards (experience with VDE AR-N 4110) is desirable.

• Familiarity with measurement concepts and energy economic contexts, as well as with planning and calculation tools.

• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style.

• Very good German language skills.
