Manager, Forward Deployed Engineering – Manufacturing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee a high-achieving team of Forward Deployed Engineers and AI Engineers.

• Collaborate with enterprise clients to design data migrations and develop AI systems.

• Ensure the quality of deliverables and promote strategic governance.

• Provide mentorship to Forward Deployed Engineers and support their career progression.

• Serve as the executive escalation point for critical customer issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of leadership experience managing high-performing technical delivery teams.

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a technical solutions architect or data/AI engineer.

• Proven track record in leading large-scale data platform migrations and AI/ML initiatives.

• Strong executive presence along with excellent stakeholder management skills.

• Familiarity with Databricks, Apache Spark™, MLflow, Delta Lake, or the contemporary data and AI ecosystem.
