Welsh‑Speaking Editor – English, Welsh

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Assist in the translation and editing of written materials for our education programmes.

• Ensure that content is accurate, clear, and culturally suitable for Welsh-medium and bilingual settings.

• Translate materials between English and Welsh, along with editing and proofreading to maintain high editorial standards.

• Collaborate closely with internal delivery teams, subject matter experts, and programme leads to ensure that content adheres to quality standards and facilitates effective education delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native or near-native proficiency in written Welsh and English.

• Demonstrated experience in translation and editorial tasks.

• Exceptional attention to detail, capable of handling complex and lengthy documents.

• Experience in tailoring tone and language for various audiences.

• Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Experience in education, public sector, or policy environments is preferred but not mandatory.
