Weight Management Physician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a key member of the Virtual Care Team’s Virtual Weight Management Clinic.

• Address patient requirements through video consultations.

• Offer thorough obesity care for adult patients, encompassing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.

• Implement behavioral and lifestyle therapy along with pharmacotherapy.

• Work in conjunction with a multidisciplinary team, including Registered Dieticians, Health Coaches, and Behavioral Therapists, to enhance comprehensive care.

• Provide treatment for acute illnesses via video consultations when weight management sessions are not fully booked.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid certification in Obesity Medicine from the American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM).

• Deep understanding of Obesity Pathophysiology.

• Knowledge of comprehensive approaches to obesity treatment.

• Medical qualification as a physician.

• Capability to provide care for adult patients.

• Skill in collaborating with Registered Dieticians, Health Coaches, and Behavioral Therapists.
