This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

• Develop, enhance, and manage genestack.com utilizing the MODX CMS hosted on AWS.

• Ensure website content is easily manageable for non-technical team members.

• Take ownership of website upkeep, including bug fixes, upgrades, deployments, hosting, performance, and overall stability.

• Collaborate with the designer to create clean, responsive, and accessible pages as well as reusable UI components.

• Track website performance and analytics effectively.

• Assist with technical SEO and suggest pertinent improvements.

• Oversee cookie and consent tools such as Enzuzo.

• Actively identify technical risks and propose practical, long-lasting solutions.

• Work closely with the internal team as a long-term technical collaborator.

• Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining production websites over time.

• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Comfortable with responsive and accessible web development.

• Practical experience with PHP-based CMS platforms similar to MODX.

• Knowledge of Git, deployment workflows, hosting, and basic performance monitoring.

• Solid understanding of website security, backups, technical SEO, and Core Web Vitals.

• Ability to create and manage form integrations, especially with CRM platforms like Salesforce.

• Strong practical experience with modern AI-assisted development tools.

• Good engineering judgment.

• Clear and proactive communication skills.

• Experience collaborating directly with designers and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proficient in English.

• Direct experience with MODX is a plus.

• Familiarity with AWS is advantageous.

• Knowledge of website analytics and cookie/consent management tools is a plus.

• Freelance consulting engagement on a retainer basis.

• Ongoing workload of approximately 10 hours per month.

• Additional hours to be negotiated separately for larger website projects, redesigns, or technical enhancements.

• Long-term collaboration rather than one-off projects.
