Web3 Fullstack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Create a Seamless Web2 ↔ Web3 Integration — Design and implement the processes that allow users to transition effortlessly between traditional accounts/payments and on-chain wallets, including custodial and non-custodial wallets, account abstraction, gasless transactions, and fiat on-ramps.

• Manage the Digital Item Lifecycle — Develop systems that handle item minting, ownership, transfer, trading, and redemption, ensuring that on-chain state and off-chain records remain consistent, auditable, and efficient.

• Build Fullstack Features — Deliver comprehensive solutions that encompass wallet-connected frontends, backend services, and the smart contract/indexing layer that facilitates item ownership and turnover.

• Model Items & Ownership — Create data models and APIs that uniformly represent items, whether they reside off-chain, in custodial wallets, or on-chain, while ensuring synchronization.

• Guarantee Reliability of Value Flows — Ensure that any process involving item or monetary movement is accurate under failure conditions, focusing on idempotency, reconciliation, replay safety, and clear recovery strategies.

• Incorporate Blockchains & Marketplaces — Engage with EVM chains, token standards, indexers, and marketplace/settlement processes, abstracting their variations through clean internal interfaces.

• Collaborate Across Teams — Partner with product, security, payments, and game-facing teams to transform business requirements into detailed technical plans, and document decisions for clarity and autonomy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Web2 ↔ Web3 Integration — Practical experience connecting traditional systems with on-chain platforms: wallet onboarding, custodial versus non-custodial trade-offs, account abstraction, and gasless/relayed transactions.

• EVM & Smart Contracts — Proficient understanding of EVM chains and Solidity, including the ability to read, integrate, and assess the safety of contracts.

• Token & Item Standards — Solid grasp of ERC-20, ERC-721, and ERC-1155 standards, and their application to real game items, ownership, and transfer mechanisms.

• On-chain / Off-chain Sync — Experience in maintaining consistency between blockchain state and off-chain databases, including indexing, event ingestion, reorg handling, and reconciliation techniques.

• TypeScript & React — Proficient in TypeScript and React for creating responsive, production-ready interfaces.

• Wallet Integration — Familiarity with wallet connectivity and web3 client libraries (e.g., wagmi, viem, ethers.js, WalletConnect) along with embedded/social login wallets.

• Backend Services — Strong backend capabilities in Node.js and Go, focusing on clean APIs, concurrency, and performance under high load.

• Distributed Systems — Experience with distributed systems and their trade-offs (e.g., consistency, availability, failure modes), particularly where value transfer accuracy is critical.

• PostgreSQL — Skills in schema design, query optimization, and handling migrations at scale.

• Kubernetes — Ability to deploy, operate, and troubleshoot services within a Kubernetes environment.

• Message Streaming — Experience with Kafka or NATS, focusing on event-driven patterns, consumer groups, and at-least-once delivery guarantees.

• Git & CI/CD — Proficient in Git and modern CI/CD methodologies.

• Gaming Industry Experience — Background in developing or operating platforms for game developers, publishers, or players, particularly those involving in-game items, economies, or ownership.
