This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.
• Act as the comprehensive owner of Energy Exemplar’s website, serving as a vital marketing and business channel.
• Ensure the website is optimized to achieve business objectives, including demand generation, brand positioning, and enhancing user experience.
• Proactively seek opportunities for enhancement, prioritize and manage web initiatives, and provide strategic recommendations based on performance data, changing search trends (including AI-driven search), and company priorities.
• Collaborate across departments with Marketing, Product, Sales, HR, and executive stakeholders to ensure the website aligns with company strategy and delivers measurable impact.
• Function as a self-directed owner of the website, proactively identifying opportunities and driving enhancements with minimal supervision.
• Manage the website roadmap, aligning initiatives with business goals and strategy.
• Continuously assess website performance, structure, and user experience to pinpoint issues and opportunities for enhancement.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to enhance conversion rates, engagement, and user journeys.
• Oversee search intelligence, including keyword and prompt research across traditional and AI-driven search, transforming insights into actionable recommendations that inform content development.
• Establish and uphold templates, frameworks, and best practices to empower content teams to produce search-optimized, high-performing content.
• Monitor and analyze website performance metrics to guide optimization decisions.
• Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of the website, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors as necessary.
• In-depth understanding of web design, development, and best practices.
• Experience with content management systems (CMS), particularly HubSpot.
• Proficiency in leveraging HubSpot CMS features (e.g., HubDB, HubL) to facilitate scalable, structured, and dynamically generated website content.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Proven experience with SEO and a working knowledge of AI-driven search paradigms (AEO/GEO), including structured data implementation.
• Familiarity with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, HotJar, Semrush, Screaming Frog, and Looker Studio.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., web development, information technology, marketing) or equivalent experience.
• Experience in owning and optimizing a website as a critical business channel.
• Demonstrated ability to provide strategic, data-driven recommendations.
• Strong project management and prioritization capabilities.
• Experience in implementing structured data (schema markup).
• Proven experience working cross-functionally and engaging with senior stakeholders.
