Cloud Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee a team dedicated to operations for SAAS Kubernetes applications in OCI and AWS.

• Provide training and mentorship to Operations Engineers.

• Respond to event-driven alerts and incidents with a strong focus on SLAs.

• Ensure the swift execution of plans for the rollout of new technologies.

• Direct the triage and prioritization of tickets by our Client Services team.

• Assist in troubleshooting and support for OS, application, virtualization, and containerization challenges.

• Collaborate with the Engineering team to develop automation and processes aimed at enhancing operational SLAs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

• Over 3 years in a management or leadership position.

• More than 5 years in an operations role.

• At least 5 years of experience supporting large-scale .NET applications.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in supporting environments based on OCI and AWS.

• A fundamental understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems.

• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in managing and implementing Kubernetes solutions.

• Skilled in applying Infrastructure as Code principles and technologies (Terraform).

• Extensive automation experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, Ansible, PowerShell, Groovy, Python, etc.

• Hands-on experience in collecting performance data, analyzing, troubleshooting, and tuning systems.

• Proficient in working with application containers like IIS and Tomcat.

• Capable of full stack troubleshooting.

• Experience with Source Control Management (Git).
