Deal Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Serve as the key facilitator for deal execution by collaborating closely with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Security teams.

• Oversee the complete RFP, RFI, and proposal response workflow: from intake and qualification to timeline management, draft assembly, and timely submission of high-quality responses.

• Coordinate contributions from Sales, Legal, Finance, Security, and Product subject-matter experts.

• Develop and maintain a proposal content library that can be reused.

• Champion ongoing enhancements to proposal, deal, and contracting processes.

• Ensure compliance with discounting policies and verify quote configurations.

• Monitor and analyze deal and proposal trends to identify potential bottlenecks.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in a deal desk, commercial contracting, or commercial/sales operations role within a B2B SaaS environment.

• Managed RFP/RFI and proposal responses from start to finish: coordinating cross-functional input, meeting deadlines, and ensuring quality of deliverables to customers.

• Oversaw contract workflows comprehensively: from quote validation and approval routing to redlining, execution, and repository management.

• Engaged in negotiations of commercial terms directly with enterprise clients: including payment terms, SLAs, and liability positions.

• Maintained process and policy discipline across Sales, Legal, and Finance without direct authority over those teams.

• Functioned within a CLM environment (such as Ironclad, Spotdraft, or similar) and managed a CRM (preferably Salesforce), with experience in CPQ tools as a deal data system of record.
