This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Instruct 11-week live, online courses utilizing engaging, student-centered teaching methods.
• Create an inclusive and supportive atmosphere that encourages active learning and student engagement.
• Deliver prompt and constructive feedback while addressing student inquiries within 24 hours.
• Conduct weekly office hours to enhance student comprehension and foster community.
• Collaborate with Teaching Assistants to co-manage the course, including mentoring the TA on effective grading and student engagement techniques.
• Assess student progress, maintain grade records, and provide mid-quarter and end-of-quarter evaluations.
• Partner with colleagues and Campus staff to exchange best practices and continually refine instruction.
• Contribute to co-curricular initiatives (e.g., speaker series, networking events) to enhance the student experience.
• Remain updated on industry and pedagogical trends pertinent to your subject area and online education.
• Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline. *(Bachelor’s degree with substantial industry and teaching experience may be considered.)*
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the college or university level.
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
• Proficiency with digital tools and platforms, including Learning Management Systems (LMS) and video conferencing.
• Digital fluency with the capability to effectively integrate AI-powered educational tools into instruction.
• Proactive, dependable, and dedicated to delivering high-quality online education.
• Enthusiasm for equity, access, and supporting students from diverse backgrounds.
• Availability to commit 8-10 hours per week per course, with some flexibility for training.
