Trader – Trading Origination

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Assist with daily trading operations, ensuring that markets remain competitive, precise, and aligned with commercial objectives.

• Verify that models and data feeds function as intended, and if issues arise, collaborate with relevant teams to restore service promptly.

• Respond as needed to any changes affecting game states (e.g., injury updates).

• Work together with colleagues to refine pricing models and enhance the trading tools we utilize.

• Engage in data-related initiatives as necessary to gain insights into shifts in betting trends.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and uphold responsible gambling standards across all trading activities.

• Participate in in-person team sessions as needed for collaboration, training, and strategic planning.

• Actively involve yourself in competitor analysis to ensure continuous improvement of our product.

• A deep passion for and extensive knowledge of US team sports.

• A solid grasp of probability and betting odds, preferably with experience in a Trading department within the industry.

• Strong focus on accuracy, competitiveness, and long-term profitability.

• Analytical and data-savvy, capable of understanding, validating, and explaining the outputs of pricing models.

• Highly motivated and reliable.

• Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.

• Willingness to work weekends and evenings to accommodate business needs and the sporting calendar.

• Openness to travel for in-person sessions with the team.
