Web Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Work alongside product management to assess various options, provide feedback on feasibility, and assist in developing architecture and UI/UX designs.

• Create, construct, and implement features across different product domains.

• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to fellow engineers.

• Enhance the technical stack and development methodologies.

• Maintain current tools and infrastructure as necessary.

• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop Allego’s revenue enablement product.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience.

• A strong enthusiasm for web development and ensuring cross-browser compatibility.

• Proficient understanding of JavaScript, jQuery, React, TypeScript, hooks, component composition, performance optimization, Chakra UI, and Emotion.

• Significant hands-on experience with the Java and J2EE stack.

• Capability to independently identify and resolve code issues using the appropriate tools and resources.

• Experience utilizing browser developer tools for debugging purposes.

• Proficiency in collaborating effectively within a dynamic Agile development environment.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Development, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Preferred: Experience with React Hook Form, Yup, TanStack Table, axios, Jotai, and Immer.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Git or a comparable version control system.

• Preferred: Knowledge of Struts 2, JSP, and Spring MVC.

• Preferred: Experience with Webpack, Vite, React Testing Library, WebdriverIO, ESLint, Stylelint, and SCSS.

• Preferred: Understanding of OAuth, OIDC, SAML, and AWS SDK.

• Ability to work harmoniously within a team and manage workloads and priorities effectively.
