This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.
• Update and manage WordPress sites and pages utilizing ACF, custom templates, theme modifications, Elementor Pro, WPBakery, Divi, and associated tools.
• Develop new sections, templates, and layout variations based on briefs, wireframes, or pre-existing design systems.
• Create and manage Shopify collections, custom pages, and theme alterations using JSON and Liquid.
• Provide support for custom logic concerning templates, product/collection layouts, and landing pages.
• Convert Google Docs and content outlines into polished, conversion-optimized web pages.
• Organize content for readability and engagement through headings, spacing, CTAs, visual hierarchy, images, tables, and other media.
• Implement on-page SEO best practices, including meta tags, headings, internal links, schema, and configurations for Yoast/Rank Math.
• Utilize Google Lighthouse, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs to pinpoint and assist in resolving technical SEO challenges.
• Aid in the configuration of tracking setups in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
• Assist in the implementation and validation of event tracking for form submissions, key button clicks, and conversions.
• Review published pages for formatting accuracy, responsiveness, and technical performance.
• Conduct tests across various devices and browsers to guarantee a uniform user experience.
• Operate in varied CMS environments such as Headless WordPress, Webflow, and Framer as needed.
• Adhere to established workflows, naming conventions, and client-specific publishing procedures.
• Collaborate closely with content strategists and project managers to transform briefs and Google Docs into high-performing pages.
• Over 4 years of practical WordPress development experience, including ACF, theme modifications, custom templates, Elementor Pro, WPBakery, and Divi.
• More than 1 year of Shopify development experience using JSON and Liquid.
• Proficient in HTML and CSS.
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript for front-end interactions and enhancements.
• A demonstrated portfolio of live sites and the ability to articulate contributions from code and/or CMS dashboard.
• Three or more references, including at least full name, company, role/title, phone and/or email, and dates (from/to).
• Working knowledge of SEO best practices and the fundamentals of Google Lighthouse.
• C1 level English proficiency, comfortable engaging with an international, English-speaking team.
• Familiarity with tools like Asana, Jira, or Teamwork is a plus.
• Basic skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or Figma are advantageous.
• Experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT or GitHub Copilot is a bonus.
• A keen eye for design and fundamental UX/UI principles is preferred.
• Competitive salary ranging from $2,500 to $2,700, based on experience.
• Two weeks of paid time off (PTO).
