This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop new digital health products while enhancing existing offerings.
• Acquire knowledge about the science and user needs to create appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts and product owners to convert requirements into technical specifications.
• Design and implement solutions with a focus on cloud and security-first principles.
• Engage in all phases of frontend development: design, coding, reviewing, testing, integration, debugging, deployment, and maintenance of user interfaces.
• Take part in code reviews and PR-based workflows, maintaining coding standards and architectural guidelines.
• Guide fellow engineers through pairing, reviews, and shared knowledge, while advocating for best practices within the team.
• A bachelor's degree in a technical field, ideally in Computer Science or a similar discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in frontend development using React.js, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, and CSS frameworks.
• Significant experience in building component-based UIs and utilizing REST APIs with a contemporary framework.
• Demonstrated technical proficiency: ability to interact with APIs, query databases, and resolve common challenges.
• Familiarity with authentication and authorization methods (JWT, RBAC, API keys).
• Excellent troubleshooting and debugging capabilities.
• Strong communication skills — verbal, written, and presentation — with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A strong desire to learn and the capability to design and develop solutions swiftly.
• Empathy: understanding the user is key to effectiveness.
