This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serve as a vital contributor to an agile development team focused on creating educational technology products aimed at enhancing student success.

• Design and develop both front-end and back-end software components.

• Comprehend the overall system architecture and make informed design choices.

• Diagnose issues and conduct root cause analysis.

• Create code that is maintainable, testable, and easy to read.

• Engage in code reviews and present your work and concepts.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, business stakeholders, and internal teams.

• Assist with authentication and authorization integrations.

• Work with cloud SDKs and ecosystem integrations.

• Develop applications in containers and manage the distribution of containerized solutions.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1–3 years of experience in front-end, back-end, and relational database programming.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Authorization to work in the United States.

• Must currently reside in the United States.

• Proficient in using a JavaScript or TypeScript frontend framework to design and implement UI components; experience with Angular 21 is preferred.

• Capable of building endpoints, handlers, and data accessors using C# in a .NET 10 backend.

• Comfortable with asynchronous programming, LINQ, and dependency injection patterns.

• In-depth knowledge of relational databases, including transactions, stored procedures, and mapping EF Core to Postgres schemas.

• Experience with Docker, container development, and distribution.

• Ability to integrate cloud-provided SDKs and ecosystems into code and operational processes.

• Familiarity with technical authentication and authorization integrations utilizing JWT and SSO frameworks.

• Experience with version and change control; Git proficiency is required.

• Background in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Experience collaborating on software engineering teams with Product Managers, business stakeholders, and internal teams.

• Strong communication abilities for providing clear feedback during code reviews and presentations.

• Preferred experience in CI/CD using Azure Pipelines.

• Preferred experience within the Google Cloud ecosystem.

• Experience in upgrading and maintaining legacy applications is preferred.

• Working knowledge of WebRTC, SignalR, and other browser streaming technologies is preferred.

• Experience in higher education and/or the EdTech sector is preferred.
