Waste Portfolio Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee portfolio management and daily coordination for key waste initiatives, focusing initially on manufacturing waste, rework, and overweight by design.

• Collaborate with pillar leaders to transform waste strategies into actionable roadmaps, milestones, and plans.

• Facilitate cross-functional governance, follow-up, and resolution of issues across operations, supply chain, finance, and commercial stakeholders.

• Monitor the progress of initiatives, assess risks, dependencies, and value delivery to ensure waste reduction goals are met.

• Assist in building a pipeline by identifying, scoping, and prioritizing new waste reduction opportunities.

• Provide targeted project management support for high-priority initiatives, especially where cross-functional collaboration is essential.

• Create concise updates for senior leadership on performance, potential risks, necessary decisions, and progress towards commitments.

• Aid in establishing more effective working methods across the waste agenda, promoting accountability, escalation, and performance management practices.

• Strong ability in stakeholder management and building relationships.

• Structured approach to problem-solving, with the skill to convert ambiguity into actionable steps.

• Financial insight, including the capability to link initiatives to waste reduction and value creation.

• Excellent executive communication skills with the ability to clarify complex issues.

• Familiarity with manufacturing and supply chain processes, along with the commercial knowledge necessary to support Returns & Allowances initiatives as required.

• Proactive attitude, strong follow-through, and comfort in navigating a fast-paced transformation environment.
