Warehouse Operator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Take responsibility for all materials and supplies within the facilities; conduct audits on goods received in the warehouse.

• Manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials, along with related reporting, in line with established protocols.

• Organize and coordinate schedules for shipping and receiving materials to manage the flow of goods and optimize warehouse space.

• Ensure the efficiency of operational procedures, space utilization, and the upkeep and safeguarding of facilities and equipment.

• Process sales orders and invoices accurately.

• Update and sustain the warehouse location tracking system.

• Assist with customer on-call services as necessary.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

• Adhere to safety policies and relevant government, customer, or industry regulations or requirements.

• Be accountable for identifying and reporting any unsafe work practices, workplace incidents, and/or near misses.

• Conduct risk assessments (“Take Five”) prior to commencing each task.

• Maintain a tidy work environment and ensure compliance with housekeeping standards.

• Attend required training related to Environmental, Health, and Safety.

• Utilize the designated personal protective equipment (PPE) for each assigned task.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• At least one (1) year of experience in warehouse or inventory management.

• Experience in mining operations is considered beneficial.

• Forklift operation experience is mandatory.

• Familiarity with computerized inventory management systems.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a cohesive team.

• Detail-oriented with strong time management and organizational abilities.

• Proficient in computer applications (MS Office).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Valid driver's license in good standing.
