This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Analyze mortgage loan files to identify and resolve outstanding conditions before closing.
• Oversee loans through the concluding stages of the mortgage closing process.
• Prioritize and manage an active closing pipeline according to scheduled closing dates.
• Collaborate with Processors, Underwriters, Funding, and Team Leads to guarantee timely closings.
• Address closing issues while ensuring transactions remain on schedule.
• Prepare and distribute Closing Disclosures (CDs) to borrowers and settlement agents in compliance with CFPB and TRID timing requirements.
• Confirm acknowledgment of Closing Disclosures prior to document preparation.
• Create comprehensive closing packages for settlement agents.
• Verify the correctness of closing documentation before distribution.
• Maintain accurate loan documentation throughout the closing timeline.
• Partner with title companies and closing agents during the closing process.
• Validate closing costs and review final settlement amounts.
• Ensure all necessary closing documents and conditions have been submitted.
• Communicate outstanding items needed to successfully finalize transactions.
• Address inquiries and resolve issues related to scheduled closings.
• Ensure adherence to CFPB, TRID, agency, investor, and company guidelines.
• Stay updated on federal, state, and local mortgage regulations.
• Confirm loan information for accuracy prior to closing.
• Maintain complete and compliant loan records.
• Uphold quality standards that reduce post-closing corrections.
• Input and maintain accurate loan information within Encompass and the Loan Origination System (LOS).
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mortgage closing.
• Strong understanding of residential mortgage lending and closing procedures.
• In-depth knowledge of CFPB regulations and TRID disclosure requirements.
• Outstanding organizational and time management abilities.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in mortgage software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Competitive hourly wage of $29.00-$37.00/hr
