This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Deliver meaningful and prompt feedback to students on various assessment tasks.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment centered around students.
• Complete necessary assignments by established deadlines (e.g., final grades, assessments, grading rubrics, input for grade appeals, etc.).
• Engage in relevant professional development and/or scholarly activities as needed.
• Offer insights to the course lead regarding the course material.
• Recognize at-risk students and work collaboratively with student services.
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited institution, either regionally or nationally.
• Experience in legal doctrine and practice, including instruction or presentations at the JD level or in a JD program.
• Capability to develop substantial course content.
• Proficient in technology usage, particularly in delivering legal education.
• Familiarity with online education delivery and supporting systems (Preferred).
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in online teaching, particularly in a JD program or at the JD level (Preferred).
• Experience in curriculum development (Preferred).
