This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Investigate newly identified vulnerabilities across a diverse array of software products.
β’ Conduct reverse engineering and research on network protocols, file formats, and software.
β’ Create and validate proof-of-concept files and exploit code.
β’ Generate reports detailing software vulnerabilities and the identification of attack vectors.
β’ Keep track of security industry publications, news groups, and other online resources for the latest security vulnerabilities and emerging threats.
β’ Develop new tools and enhance existing ones to automate and optimize the vulnerability research process.
β’ Collaborate with fellow vulnerability researchers on studies, analyses, and report generation.
β’ Profound technical expertise.
β’ Capacity to operate at a Staff level or higher.
β’ Proven experience in analyzing, discovering, and exploiting vulnerabilities.
β’ Background in researching exploit techniques and corresponding mitigations.
β’ Experience in developing systems to facilitate reverse engineering analysis tasks.
β’ Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
β’ Industry experience in a similar technical role is preferred but not required.
