This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Responsible for the comprehensive delivery across the Finance, Liabilities & Investments sector, ensuring that measurable business outcomes such as growth, cost efficiency, enhanced customer experience, and risk mitigation are realized.
• Enhance business processes and support essential strategies by managing the development, implementation, maintenance, scalability, and performance of applications and products.
• Lead and cultivate the Finance, Liabilities & Investments domain of value stream solutions delivery teams to effectively collaborate with the business, translating their needs into scalable and efficient solutions that meet objectives and advance both company and IT priorities.
• Take ownership of technology performance throughout the entire lifecycle of products and capabilities within the Finance, Liabilities & Investments domain.
• Stay informed about industry trends, tools, and practices, collaborating with business unit peers and architecture to evaluate the technical capabilities required to support company strategies and create multi-year capability roadmaps.
• Direct RFP processes and negotiate contracts that align with value realization, performance incentives, and long-term capability strategy.
• Manage strategic technology and platform partners as integrated members of value stream teams.
• Align vendor performance with business outcomes and ensure compliance with contracts, while building relationships with senior-level executive stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional, product-aligned teams, promoting shared accountability between business and technology within the Finance, Liabilities & Investments domain to ensure that implemented solutions address organizational needs.
• Conduct operational budget analysis, creation, and management.
• Own the escalation process for all technology issues related to the delivery of technical solutions.
• Ensure the alignment of architecture, data, and platforms to facilitate a seamless experience throughout the entire insurance lifecycle.
• Collaborate with leaders across F&G to understand requirements and jointly develop integrated business and technology roadmaps that align with enterprise strategy and regulatory needs.
• Oversee solutions delivery efforts, providing input for capability planning, and ensuring that solutions comply with F&G security and compliance guidelines, quality assurance standards, and disaster recovery protocols.
• Manage consistent capacity planning aligned with value stream priorities and optimize team composition across all roles necessary to support desired outcomes.
• Bachelor's degree in information systems or a related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Over 15 years of progressive leadership experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a senior management position.
• Proven experience supporting IT or technology-enabled functions within the designated business group (i.e., finance, liabilities & investments).
• In-depth understanding of insurance value chains.
• Demonstrated experience and expertise with applications architecture, frameworks, and enterprise solutions delivery.
• Experience leading within a Product Operating Model or Value Stream organization.
• Strong and current knowledge of architecture and implementation.
• Experience in designing, developing, implementing, and monitoring adherence to policies, processes, procedures, and standards.
• At least 5 years of experience managing outsourced vendors, COTS solutions, and internal staff.
• ITIL certification is a plus.
• Extensive technical, financial, and contract management experience.
