CFO Advisory, Accounting Advisory Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead the implementation and quality assurance of accounting advisory projects.

• Supervise accounting positions and manage delivery schedules.

• Track project advancement and mitigate risks in client service delivery.

• Collaborate on technical accounting matters and quality assurance procedures.

• Simplify complex accounting concepts for both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

• Provide practical advice to facilitate essential business decisions.

• Contribute to business growth through technical proficiency and client relationships.

• Oversee engagement teams to ensure compliance with deadlines, objectives, and quality benchmarks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (mandatory).

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required.

• Over 10 years of professional experience in public accounting or a similar field.

• A minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.

• Advanced understanding of US GAAP, SEC reporting, IFRS, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).

• Exceptional analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

• Strong attention to detail and precision.
