This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Assist builder division managers by summarizing, presenting, and advising on all financial matters.
• Convert intricate financial data into actionable insights that guide decision-making, enhance performance, and boost profitability.
• Collaborate with builder division managers in the recruitment of Loan Originators by modeling financial scenarios, evaluating market opportunities, and providing compensation advice.
• Offer insights into long-term profitability and potential capture to ensure informed and sustainable recruitment choices.
• Oversee builder division compensation, from the initial formulation of agreements and adjustments in salaries or base cost centers, to the approval of monthly commission, incentive, and override reports.
• Analyze current branches to provide guidance on profitability dynamics and coordinate product margins and commission rates for each market.
• Create, implement, and maintain financial reporting tools and dashboards for all management levels to enhance visibility into key dynamics.
• Manage a team and ensure the preparation and accuracy of financial reporting and KPIs for compensation purposes.
• Represent CHL in builder division joint ventures (over 10), providing all necessary financial reporting and support.
• Spearhead the annual builder division budgeting process and mid-year forecasting, collaborating with regional managers and joint venture shareholders to formulate strategic business decisions.
• Deliver ad hoc analyses and reports to address emerging business needs from CHL, ABA/JVs, and executive management.
• Execute other duties as assigned.
• Strong grasp of technology, both in theory and application.
• Excellent organizational skills, with a focus on detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Exceptional analytical abilities and capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with the mortgage industry and financial concepts related to mortgages.
• This role necessitates 8 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage sales, secondary markets, and financial modeling is required.
• Experience with relational databases for data analysis is essential.
• This role requires at least 5 years of experience using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
