• Develop and implement a reporting and analytics strategy that aligns with organizational priorities, adopting a product-oriented approach that prioritizes reusability, consistency, and scalability throughout the enterprise.
• Create and uphold a standardized library of reporting insights, which includes a semantic layer of measures and models tailored to satisfy the majority of recurring reporting and analytics requirements across the organization, as well as in-the-moment ad-hoc analyses.
• Promote enterprise-wide data literacy and self-service analytics capabilities, empowering teams to confidently access, interpret, and act on data without needing analyst intervention for routine decisions.
• Foster a culture of insight-to-action — ensuring that analytics findings are converted into clear strategic and operational recommendations for business leaders to act upon decisively.
• Guide the team’s advancement towards AI-enabled analytics capabilities in line with Centivo’s AI Governance and Acceptable Use policies.
• Support Employers, Brokers, Client Success, and Centivo Corporate in showcasing Centivo’s value — proactively developing and managing standard insights while delivering urgent and advanced analysis for clients and corporate stakeholders.
• Assist internal stakeholders (e.g., Claims Operations, Member Operations, Care, Provider, Finance, etc.) by providing operational performance insights and facilitating data-driven planning — primarily creating standard insights for self-service by internal users, with ad-hoc delivery as prioritized.
• Collaborate directly with senior leaders across Claims Operations, Member Operations, Care, Finance, Sales & Marketing, and Centivo Corporate to transform business priorities into actionable analytics capabilities.
• Ensure proactive and ongoing engagement with Client Success — anticipating stakeholder needs and maintaining alignment on priorities.
• Work closely with the head of data architecture (Datalake team) to guarantee alignment between analytics products and the foundational data infrastructure, governance standards, and platform roadmap.
• Oversee the BI infrastructure strategy, encompassing the sourcing, integration, and ongoing management of third-party BI tools and metrics/models that facilitate scalable and differentiated insights.
• Lead BI tool migration initiatives, ensuring the continuity of reporting capabilities while enhancing scale, performance, and usability.
• Identify and recommend analytical solutions that utilize corporate, clinical, and third-party data assets to achieve measurable business outcomes.
• Take ownership of meeting time and quality SLAs across standard and ad-hoc analytics requests.
• Execute a prioritized portfolio of analytics initiatives; establish process discipline to guarantee consistent, high-quality output at scale.
• Advance automation — including AI-assisted workflows — to minimize errors, boost productivity, and enhance the team’s overall capacity for high-value analysis.
• Define and monitor key performance metrics across analytics value streams; proactively adjust strategies when performance diverges from expectations.
• Directly manage and develop a team of data analysts, providing coaching, performance oversight, and career development in alignment with Centivo’s leadership behaviors and growth objectives.
• Build and sustain a high-performing analytics organization; consistently embody Centivo’s values and leadership behaviors.
• Manage vendor relationships related to BI tools and third-party data/model providers, including oversight of contracts, statements of work, and delivery performance.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS, or related) preferred.
• 5 years of experience in leading analytics or reporting teams, including direct management of analysts and team leads.
• 5 years of experience in healthcare industry analytics with a health plan (TPA strongly preferred) and/or health systems and/or HealthTech companies, with hands-on experience with core datasets (claims, EHR, enrollment, provider, care coordination).
• Domain expertise in claims operations, value-based care, ACO models, and self-funded employer health plans is a considerable differentiator.
• Proven experience in designing and delivering a standardized library of reporting and analytics products at an enterprise scale, with a product mindset for reusability and consistency.
• Strong working knowledge of modern BI and analytics tools, particularly Tableau, as well as AWS Quicksight and Power BI; data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or Microsoft Azure Fabric; and analytical tools like Python or R.
• Familiarity with advanced analytics, including machine learning and predictive modeling; knowledge of agentic AI and automation in an analytics context is a strong differentiator.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience in delivering business reviews and translating complex analytics into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leaders.
