β’ Establish and oversee a comprehensive Competitive Intelligence (CI) function across the organization to enhance our competitive focus.
β’ Cultivate a network of external sources and internal specialists to gather intelligence.
β’ Evaluate market trends, competitive movements, and emerging competitors; synthesize this analysis into critical insights to guide J D Powerβs growth strategy, market entry activities, and product development plans.
β’ Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to pinpoint competitive challenges and opportunities.
β’ Work alongside Marketing to verify JD Power claims and counteract competitor messaging.
β’ Develop and maintain a competitive scorecard to monitor progress towards strategic objectives.
β’ Collaborate with RevOps to integrate CI into sales processes and tools, including win/loss analysis and customer satisfaction insights.
β’ Share insights throughout the organization and integrate CI into training and enablement initiatives.
β’ Oversee third-party research vendors to address intelligence gaps.
β’ Identify and evaluate potential M&A and partnership opportunities that align with the growth strategy.
β’ Over 10 years of experience in market and competitive intelligence roles within B2B-focused companies.
β’ Preferred experience in the automotive sector.
β’ Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication capabilities.
β’ Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across different business units.
β’ Experience in establishing CI functions from the ground up is advantageous.
β’ Comfortable navigating uncertainty and providing clarity in dynamic environments.
