• Take ownership of the regional Professional Services P&L, budget, and operational plan, ensuring the attainment of margin targets and the financial well-being of the regional services business.
• Spearhead the scoping, solution development, and presentation of professional services for key opportunities, closely collaborating with Sales to establish impactful, value-oriented engagements.
• Work in partnership with Regional Sales and Account Management leadership to create service strategies that facilitate pipeline acceleration, revenue objectives, and business expansion.
• Lead, grow, and enhance the Professional Services organization, managing both the Forward Deployed Engineering and Customer Success Engineering teams throughout MEA.
• Oversee workforce planning, capacity management, and resource allocation to effectively balance team performance against a dynamic business portfolio.
• Recruit, evaluate, and cultivate top-tier technical talent, applying performance management frameworks to acknowledge excellence and tackle underperformance.
• Establish and govern the regional service delivery methodology, guaranteeing consistent, repeatable, and high-quality results throughout the entire customer lifecycle (from onboarding to expansion).
• Set and uphold technical standards and MLOps best practices for customer implementations, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and maintainable at an enterprise level.
• Assess customer satisfaction, delivery quality, and the overall health of engagements to enhance customer impact and retention.
• Act as the senior technical point of contact and executive sponsor for strategic enterprise customers, engaging with C-level stakeholders regarding delivery, architecture, and platform adoption strategies.
• Ensure strong alignment with Global Engineering and Deployment leadership on standards, tools, and frameworks, confirming that MEA practices are aligned with global strategy.
• Represent DataRobot as a thought leader at regional industry events, customer advisory boards, and partner forums.
• 10–14 years of progressive experience in software engineering, platform deployment, or AI/ML technical roles.
• At least 4 years in a senior management or VP-level leadership position.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is required; MS or PhD is preferred.
• Expert-level, hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform, including considerations for enterprise security, networking, and compliance.
• Strong architectural knowledge of MLOps, model CI/CD pipelines, REST API design, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and enterprise data integration patterns.
• Proven experience in designing and overseeing deployment architectures for complex, regulated enterprise environments, including sectors such as financial services, healthcare, and government common to the MEA region.
• Familiarity with Generative AI and Agentic AI frameworks (LangGraph, LlamaIndex, CrewAI) and their deployment considerations is a significant advantage.
• Demonstrated experience (minimum 3–5 years) in leading and scaling regional or global deployment, solutions, or platform engineering teams, including hiring, performance management, and career development across distributed locations.
• Strong capacity to manage a matrixed organization with both direct and dotted reporting lines across various time zones.
