• Integrate TechOps Teams: Merge the infrastructure teams from acquired entities into a unified global function with standardized processes, tools, titles, and culture.
• Promote Cultural Change: Foster a culture of urgency, ownership, and action across all global infrastructure teams, leveraging AI-driven workflows to enhance speed.
• Develop Organizational Framework: Create an organizational structure that simplifies operations and maximizes speed, removing redundancies and defining clear ownership, accountability, and escalation paths for around 150 employees.
• Cultivate Talent Pipeline: Lead workforce planning, skills enhancement, and talent acquisition to guarantee that the organization possesses the necessary capabilities for a modern, cloud-focused infrastructure environment.
• Manage Core Infrastructure: Operate and optimize both on-premises and cloud data centers, networking, server and container virtualization, operating systems, databases, and L3 customer system support.
• Spearhead Cloud Modernization: Direct cloud migration and modernization efforts, optimizing the equilibrium between on-premises and cloud infrastructure for cost-effectiveness, performance, and reliability.
• Establish Operational Excellence: Set and uphold SLAs, incident management, disaster recovery, and business continuity standards across the entire infrastructure landscape.
• Implement Monitoring & Automation: Introduce comprehensive monitoring, observability, and automation to enhance system reliability and minimize mean time to resolution.
• Oversee End-User Technology: Manage employee hardware lifecycle, productivity software deployment, and L2 internal user support for a global workforce.
• Advocate for AI Adoption: Promote enterprise-wide use of AI-powered tools and agentic workflows within the infrastructure organization, fostering a culture of speed through intelligent automation.
• Optimize Enterprise Platforms: Manage and refine the portfolio of enterprise systems including NetSuite (Finance), Coupa (Procurement), Workday (HR), and Salesforce (Sales), ensuring alignment with business processes and organizational priorities.
• Collaborate with Business Leaders: Work alongside Finance, Procurement, HR, and Sales executives to translate operational needs into system capabilities and encourage adoption.
• Manage Vendor Relations: Supervise vendor partnerships, contract negotiations, and total cost of ownership for enterprise platforms.
• Implement a structured quarterly planning process with a strong commitment to frequent, predictable releases across all infrastructure services.
• Provide real-time insights to the executive team and organization regarding ongoing work, scheduled release dates, and capacity aligned with strategic initiatives.
• Over 15 years of progressive experience in infrastructure technology leadership.
• More than 5 years in a VP or senior director role managing large, globally distributed infrastructure teams.
• Proven track record of transforming infrastructure organizations in multi-entity or post-acquisition settings.
• In-depth knowledge of data center operations, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), networking, virtualization, container orchestration, and database management.
• Significant experience managing enterprise systems such as NetSuite, Workday, Salesforce, or Coupa in a complex, multi-business-unit environment.
• Demonstrated success in implementing operational excellence frameworks, including ITIL, SRE practices, and DevOps methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with or strong belief in AI-assisted tools and automation practices within infrastructure and operations teams.
• Outstanding leadership and team-building capabilities, with the ability to inspire urgency, set high standards, and nurture talent at all levels.
• Strong executive communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence C-suite decision-making and provide strategic guidance.
• Experience operating in private equity-backed or high-growth environments with a focus on both growth and operational efficiency.
• Background in data-intensive or analytics-driven sectors, particularly in automotive, financial services, or information services (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
