VP, Reliability and Asset Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement a long-term strategic roadmap for the practice that aligns with the broader company objectives and market dynamics.

• Manage the entire lifecycle of service offerings—from concept and development through to launch, refinement, and eventual retirement.

• Perform competitive benchmarking and market analysis to ensure that offerings stand out and stay relevant.

• Oversee annual practice planning, including setting revenue targets, prioritizing innovations, and fostering capability development.

• Create and uphold delivery standards, methodologies, and quality assurance measures across all practice engagements.

• Spearhead the creation of reusable assets, playbooks, and accelerators to enhance delivery efficiency and consistency.

• Conduct regular audits of projects and post-mortems to capture lessons learned and promote continuous improvement.

• Identify, mentor, and nurture high-potential consultants within the practice to strengthen future leadership capabilities.

• Serve as a company representative and domain expert through keynote addresses, panel discussions, and contributions to industry publications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science, Engineering, or a related field (OR an equivalent combination of experience in CQV engineering, cGMP facility start-up, project management, and/or relevant military experience).

• Over 25 years of experience in life sciences, biotech, or advanced manufacturing with extensive domain expertise.

• Proven track record in building and scaling a consulting practice or technical service line.

• Capability to interpret market signals and translate them into actionable strategies and service innovations.

• Strong experience in managing complex, multi-disciplinary consulting projects.

• Demonstrated ability in mentoring, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.

• Acknowledged thought leader with a prominent presence in industry forums and publications.

• Outstanding communication, negotiation, executive presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Willingness to travel domestically as needed.
