This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with the Head of M&A to implement SSA’s acquisition strategy across primary and adjacent sectors.
• Oversee the complete deal execution process, which includes: Target assessment and initial underwriting, Financial modeling and valuation evaluation, LOI structuring and negotiation assistance, Diligence management across financial, operational, legal, and personnel workstreams, Coordination of deal documentation.
• Establish and maintain a systematic acquisition pipeline with effective CRM and workflow tracking.
• Create repeatable diligence checklists, playbooks, and internal governance frameworks.
• Facilitate cross-functional diligence with finance, legal, HR, and operations teams.
• Assist in transaction structuring, including earn-outs, incentives, rollover equity, and mechanisms for seller alignment.
• Collaborate with integration teams to ensure smooth transitions and thoughtful planning post-close.
• Aid in minimizing deal cycle time through process discipline, automation, and operational rigor.
• Support vertical ideation and adjacent expansion research in partnership with the Head of M&A.
• Provide an industry-leading seller experience characterized by professionalism, responsiveness, and integrity.
• Consistently achieve 10 or more quality acquisitions annually in collaboration with the Head of M&A.
• Decrease average deal cycle time while upholding diligence standards.
• Maintain highly organized, real-time pipeline reporting and executive dashboards.
• Develop repeatable diligence and underwriting frameworks that enhance decision-making quality.
• Achieve strong LOI-to-close conversion rates.
• Ensure clean and predictable post-close integration transitions.
• Execute disciplined capital deployment in alignment with long-term platform strategy.
• Provide clear financial modeling and return analysis to support executive decision-making.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate development, private equity, transaction advisory, or M&A within a growth-oriented organization.
• Direct experience in executing lower middle market transactions.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling and valuation analysis.
• Proven ability to manage multiple active deals at the same time.
• Experience in establishing process discipline and creating repeatable playbooks.
• Capability to lead cross-functional teams with a strong executive presence.
• Preferred experience in international or cross-border transactions.
• An operator mindset — someone who prioritizes execution, clarity, and speed.
