VP, Product Management, AI Security – Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the vision, long-term strategy, roadmap, and business success metrics for BeyondTrust’s AI security portfolio within the Pathfinder platform.

• Act as a senior leader within the product organization, establishing strategy across the portfolio, fostering cross-functional collaboration with engineering, GTM, and executive leadership, and serving as a primary external spokesperson for the company.

• Lead, recruit, and nurture a high-performing team of product managers; define the operational framework for discovery, roadmap, and delivery while staying closely connected to the most critical initiatives.

• Spearhead 0-to-1 product development and steer AI security functionalities from design-partner validation through to GA, establishing a repeatable process for future projects.

• Represent BeyondTrust externally as a credible and polished product leader at customer advisory boards, executive briefings, analyst days, and industry conferences.

• Manage the go-to-market strategy in collaboration with Marketing, Sales, and SE leadership.

• Serve as BeyondTrust’s senior authority on the agentic AI threat landscape, collaborating closely with Phantom Labs leadership and translating research insights into product decisions.

• Lead the design partner program and engage executive-level customers, including CISOs and security architects, through advisory boards and analyst briefings.

• Formulate competitive strategies across the identity security and agentic security landscape.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

• Over 10 years of experience in product management, security research, or technical strategy, with significant expertise in cybersecurity, identity security, or cloud security.

• More than 5 years in product leadership, including experience in building and scaling teams; prior experience managing other managers is preferred.

• Strong business acumen and operational experience; the candidate should have managed a product line, P&L, and go-to-market initiatives.

• Experience in launching AI-native products where AI fundamentally enhances the value proposition, rather than just incorporating AI features.

• Outstanding executive presence and communication skills.

• Extensive knowledge of identity security, including PAM, IAM, secrets management, workload identity, and NHI lifecycle management.

• Solid technical proficiency in AI/ML systems and understanding of the agentic threat surface.
