This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Take ownership of the product strategy for Virtual Agents. Establish a multi-year vision, determine investment areas, and convert that into an actionable roadmap for the organization. Provide rigor and clarity in decisions that encompass product experience, technological differentiation, vertical growth, and commercial models.
• Build and lead the product team. Recruit and nurture an outstanding product team and set the benchmark for product practices at Unitary.
• Collaborate across the organization to effectively execute your strategy—ensuring products are developed correctly, sales and marketing teams are empowered, and delivery teams can scale efficiently.
• Manage the complete product experience, which includes onboarding, human-in-the-loop processes, and customer success workflows that are essential to how Virtual Agents create value. At Unitary, the implementation and customer success experience is a key aspect of the product and its differentiation.
• Cultivate deep knowledge of our customers, industry domains, and competitive landscape—especially in commercial insurance—and utilize this expertise to make informed prioritization decisions.
• Function as a member of the executive team. Contribute to company strategy, assist in fundraising efforts, and represent the product to customers, partners, and investors externally.
• 10+ years of experience in product management, including previous roles as Head of Product, VP of Product, or a similar product leadership position in a B2B startup or scale-up.
• Proven track record of scaling AI or technically complex B2B products from initial traction to significant growth—ideally as one of the first product leaders in the company. Experience with businesses generating $10-$100M in ARR is highly advantageous.
• Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain exceptional Product Managers, and to establish a product function from a small foundation.
• Experience in setting strategy within greenfield or rapidly changing environments.
• Hands-on experience managing customer-facing aspects beyond the roadmap—including onboarding, implementation, support, or customer success—and a belief that this is integral to product work.
• Strong technical proficiency: comfortable engaging in architectural discussions with engineers and AI researchers, and capable of navigating the trade-offs between deterministic systems and AI components.
• Outstanding analytical and communication skills: able to deconstruct ambiguous challenges, establish clear direction, and represent Unitary credibly to senior stakeholders, customers, and investors.
• Experience in regulated B2B markets (such as commercial insurance, fintech, health tech, legal tech, or similar) is a significant advantage.
• Self-driven, humble, and motivated by the challenges presented in an early-stage company.
• Competitive salary, commission, and equity package.
• Significant autonomy and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
• Flexible working hours and location, including a monthly coworking budget or WeWork membership.
• Occupational pension (dependent on location).
• Generous paid parental leave.
• Generous paid sick leave.
• Annual budget allocated for your professional development and growth.
• Annual budget dedicated to your individual health and wellness.
• Quarterly team offsites to London and other exciting locations in Europe.
