📋 Description

• Formulates a business plan and sales strategy for the market that guarantees the achievement of company sales objectives and profitability.

• Accountable for the performance and growth of the sales team.

• Assists the team in effectively closing sales leads and cultivating new prospects.

• Initiates and organizes the development of action plans.

• Aids in the creation and execution of marketing plans as required.

• Conducts individual reviews with the sales team to enhance communication, identify training and development needs, and provide insights for improving all sales activities.

• Delivers timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.

• Manages the sales pipeline and reporting.

• Supports all sales personnel in preparing proposals and presentations.

• Manages expenses to align with budget guidelines.

• Complies with all company policies, procedures, and ethical codes, ensuring they are communicated and implemented within the team.

• Interviews, recommends, and hires sales team members based on criteria established by senior management.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of sales leadership experience in POS, payments, retail technology, or SaaS.

• Demonstrated success in leading both sales and marketing initiatives.

• Strong knowledge of merchant services, interchange, and payment processing is advantageous.

• Experience selling to independent retailers — experience in the wine and liquor industry is a significant plus.

• Strong business insight.

• Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.

• Adaptable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

• Outstanding communicator and coach with the capability to inspire teams.

• Proven history of opening new geographic markets and scaling regional field sales teams.

• Established leadership ability to motivate and drive direct reports.

• Results-oriented and self-driven with a proactive attitude and determination to finalize deals.

• Proven written and verbal communication skills with senior levels of the organization (both internal and external).

• Data-driven mentality with strong Salesforce proficiency.

• Proven ability to influence actions and garner support from others to achieve objectives.

• Exhibits a strong sense of integrity and trust.
