
VP of Sales – Financial Institutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Lead the Financial Institutions sales team, taking ownership of leadership, execution, and outcomes for the key territory.
• Recruit, coach, and nurture Senior Enterprise Account Executives.
• Establish and track activity, pipeline, and conversion metrics.
• Conduct weekly pipeline reviews, deal evaluations, and individual coaching sessions.
• Manage new customer acquisition and revenue growth within the financial institutions sector.
• Engage with executive buyers to close intricate strategic deals.
• Act as a player-coach, selling alongside the team.
• Provide accurate forecasts and report team performance to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with Marketing on demand generation, campaigns, and industry events.
• Contribute strategic insights as part of the Revenue Leadership Team.
• Work closely with Sales Enablement, RevOps, and Solutions Consulting to create scalable systems, processes, and tools.
• Partner with Customer Success and Vendor Services to enhance customer experience and identify expansion opportunities.
• Advocate for customers and provide field insights to inform product roadmap and positioning.
• Over 10 years of sales experience in enterprise B2B SaaS or financial services.
• More than 5 years of sales leadership experience in recruiting, developing, and retaining top-performing enterprise sales professionals.
• Proven track record of achieving or surpassing sales targets while fostering sustainable, programmatic growth.
• Exceptional skills in coaching, mentoring, and inspiring individual contributors.
• Ability to navigate complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Knowledge of the banking and credit union markets, including regulatory pressures, buying committees, and examination cycles.
• Practical experience with MEDDPICC, Command of the Message, or a similar qualification and value messaging framework.
• Familiarity with risk management, vendor management, cybersecurity, or compliance solutions is a significant advantage.
• Experience in a high-growth or start-up setting.
