This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulates and implements market-oriented sales strategies that foster ongoing new business development across specific regions, service divisions, and customer demographics.
• Manages opportunities from inception to closure, encompassing prospecting, qualification, discovery, solution design, proposal preparation, negotiation, and transition to implementation.
• Cultivates and oversees relationships with senior hospital and health system executives, including CEOs, COOs, CFOs, and other key operational and clinical leaders, by grasping their priorities and tailoring solutions to align with organizational objectives.
• Directs intricate, multi-stakeholder sales initiatives by evaluating client requirements, crafting unique solutions, and orchestrating internal resources to efficiently advance opportunities.
• Collaborates closely with operations, finance, legal, and executive leadership to formulate deal strategies, pricing structures, pro formas, proposals, and contract conditions that bolster profitable growth.
• Utilizes robust business and financial acumen to assess opportunity viability, comprehend client economics, and support commercially sound recommendations without necessitating in-depth technical finance expertise.
• Oversees renewal, rebid, renegotiation, and retention initiatives for strategic accounts with an emphasis on safeguarding revenue, enhancing margins, and reinforcing long-term client value.
• Discovers and pursues growth opportunities within existing accounts, including additional service lines, facility coverage, and broader strategic alliances.
• Consistently achieves assigned revenue, gross profit, and growth targets through diligent pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and effective opportunity conversion.
• Represents the organization with executive presence, sound judgment, and a commitment to accountability in all client and internal interactions.
• Proven track record in senior healthcare sales, business development, or commercial leadership roles with a history of delivering measurable growth in complex and competitive landscapes.
• Demonstrated capability to lead intricate opportunities from inception to closure, including executive engagement, solution creation, negotiation, and internal coordination with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience collaborating directly with hospital or health system leadership, possessing the credibility to engage C-suite, operational, and financial decision-makers in high-stakes sales contexts.
• Exceptional executive communication, presentation, and influencing skills, with the ability to effectively represent the organization in competitive and relationship-focused environments.
• Strong business and financial insight, including the capability to understand pricing, margins, pro formas, and contract considerations adequately to support deal decisions and convey value clearly without needing an extensive finance background.
• Proficient negotiation and deal-shaping skills, with the discernment to balance growth ambitions, client requirements, and enterprise economics.
• Highly disciplined and self-motivated, capable of managing a complex pipeline, prioritizing high-value opportunities, and sustaining momentum across multiple concurrent pursuits.
• Collaborative leadership approach and the ability to work effectively across sales, operations, finance, legal, and executive teams to transition opportunities from strategy to execution.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, healthcare administration, finance, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may also be considered.
• A minimum of 12–15 years of progressively responsible experience in sales, business development, or commercial leadership, with substantial experience in healthcare services or other complex, relationship-driven markets.
• Proven history of generating pipeline, advancing opportunities, and closing complex deals with hospital, health system, or other senior executive buyers.
• Experience with pricing, pro formas, contract strategy, and business case development is preferred.
