Director, Software Sales – Upper Mid-Market

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Spearhead Versapay’s strategy aimed at increasing new bookings and revenue within companies exceeding $100M.

• Develop and expand a high-performance team of Software Account Executives.

• Propel execution across Sales Development and strategic partner channels.

• Take ownership of the annual revenue targets for the Upper Mid-Market team.

• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Partner teams.

• Convert market opportunities into repeatable sales processes, enhanced partner leverage, and quantifiable revenue results.

• Negotiate substantial software agreements and terms to secure favorable outcomes for both customers and Versapay.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in a dynamic SaaS or Fintech environment.

• At least 5 years of experience in leading a SaaS Sales team.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience overseeing an Upper Mid-Market or Enterprise team.

• More than 5 years of experience negotiating directly with Finance leaders within the core buying persona, including Controllers, VPs of Finance, CFOs, CTOs, CIOs, and/or CAOs.

• Proven experience in implementing, reinforcing, and providing continuous coaching using an established sales methodology, with extensive knowledge of the sales process from discovery through to solutioning, ROI discussions, executive proposals, negotiation, closing, and handoffs to implementation teams.

• Demonstrated success in building relationships with key decision-makers, advancing opportunities, achieving results, and surpassing quotas.

• Experience in managing and leading virtual teams across various functions and regions.

• Capability in establishing operational rigor and identifying and replicating essential KPIs.

• Familiarity with the payments industry is advantageous.
