This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• In the role of VP of People Operations, you will take charge of how Hadley Designs identifies, evaluates, and secures top global talent.
• Collaborate with leadership to create a recruitment engine that consistently attracts strong candidates for every available position.
• Develop and enhance the people systems that support a remote, contractor-focused organization as it scales towards $100M and beyond.
• Oversee the management of the recruiting pipeline, source candidates, and screen applicants.
• Conduct test projects and structured interviews while ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the process.
• Improve sourcing channels and manage the employer brand on platforms such as Glassdoor.
• Lead the development of people systems, onboarding processes, and talent retention strategies in alignment with the company’s growth goals.
• Deliver insights and data-driven recommendations to leadership to inform decision-making and enhance workforce effectiveness.
• 3-5+ years of comprehensive recruiting experience, preferably in remote or e-commerce settings.
• A demonstrated history of successful hiring across marketing, operations, Amazon, product, and leadership roles.
• Experience in conducting structured interviews, test projects, and group assessments.
• Familiarity with recruitment technology stacks such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Workable, and OnlineJobs.ph.
• Proficient in managing hiring systems using Notion, ClickUp, or lightweight ATS solutions.
• Excellent writing skills: capable of crafting clear job postings, engaging outreach, and direct communication with candidates.
• Ability to manage 5-10 active roles simultaneously without compromising the process.
• Experience in protecting brand reputation and responding to feedback (e.g., Glassdoor).
• Proven experience in developing and managing hiring metrics reporting.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in HR or people operations, with leadership responsibilities.
• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.
• Direct experience managing contractor-centric or distributed teams.
• Proven ability in creating compliant, scalable people systems.
• Strong grasp of contractor classification, employment law, and risk mitigation strategies.
