This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior leaders within your client groups, covering aspects from organizational design and headcount planning to talent strategy and leadership effectiveness.
• Take ownership of and resolve intricate employee relations cases with confidence, empathy, and business awareness. Provide guidance and coaching to Associate/People Business Partners as necessary.
• Execute talent strategy within your client groups, focusing on performance calibration, succession planning, high-potential and managerial development, as well as internal mobility.
• Act as an escalation point for complex People Partner and employee relations matters, bridging communication with the Legal team.
• Leverage people data and talent insights to uncover trends, shape strategies, and implement proactive interventions.
• Embrace and utilize AI tools, as we are developing the next generation of talent infrastructure at Remote; we expect our PBPs to be inquisitive, experimental, and adept at collaborating with AI-driven resources.
• Collaborate with People Programs to assist in the design of frameworks, toolkits, and programs, ensuring their effective application within your client groups.
• Lead People team initiatives by taking charge of high-value cross-functional projects that enhance the Remote people experience; allocate 70-80% of your time to client groups and 20-30% to priority projects.
• Mentor and coach fellow members of the People team.
• Extensive experience in a People Business Partner role, supporting a global organization at scale.
• In-depth knowledge of employee relations, with the ability to navigate complex, multi-jurisdictional circumstances with confidence and sound judgment.
• Demonstrated capability to drive talent strategy, including performance management, succession planning, and career development.
• Strong commercial awareness — you possess an understanding of the business beyond just the people function.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to influence at the senior leadership level.
• Maintain discretion and integrity when dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
