This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Inspire and motivate a growing team to fulfill our mission of fostering community, delivering exceptional hospitality, and cultivating a sense of belonging for our community members.
• Develop strategies and execute programs to meet financial and operational goals (occupancy, sales targets, NOI achievement), ensure high satisfaction and retention of community members, and promote strong employee engagement.
• Adopt a collaborative approach and build robust cross-functional partnerships to guarantee alignment and strong support for onsite teams (Sales, Marketing, L&E, Asset Management, People Operations, Accounting, Development, Construction).
• Clearly outline success metrics for the team, including objectives, expectations, and KPIs.
• Foster a culture that aspires to be the most sales-savvy operator in the Active Adult sector.
• Lead a performance-driven team that emphasizes disciplined execution.
• Ensure that consistent processes and standard operating procedures are established, including ongoing initiatives for improvement with a focus on scalability.
• Promote strong engagement through encouragement, supportiveness, and continuous professional development.
• Recruit, develop, and retain top talent, maintaining a constant emphasis on succession planning to cultivate future leaders.
• Exhibit an entrepreneurial spirit—constantly envisioning possibilities and challenging the organization to be a market leader by continuously evolving programs and processes.
• Proactively identify and address potential risks and obstacles to achieving company strategies.
• Strive to understand and resolve the root causes of issues.
• Represent the company to stakeholders, including equity partners, in a way that fosters confidence and trust.
• Regularly visit each community to maintain a strong connection with the teams and stay attuned to market dynamics.
• Bachelor’s degree in management or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 10+ years of professional management experience, preferably in Active Adult, hospitality, multifamily housing, or senior living.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Experience with lease-up properties is required.
• Familiarity with property management software (Yardi/RentCafe) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proven experience in maintaining financial records, managing budgets, and financial reporting.
• Sales acumen: a working knowledge of sales processes and CRM systems.
• Strategic mindset: the ability to foresee future possibilities and translate them into innovative strategies.
