Senior FinOps Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Evaluate cloud expenditures, pinpoint optimization prospects, and execute cost-reduction strategies in partnership with engineering teams.

• Formulate and uphold forecasts and budgets for cloud expenditures informed by historical data and market trends.

• Design and manage dashboards and reports that offer insights into cloud expenses, usage patterns, and key influencers.

• Implement and uphold cloud financial governance standards, including tagging methodologies and cost allocation frameworks.

• Work alongside engineering, finance, and product teams to adopt FinOps best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or a related discipline.

• Proven experience with cloud platforms and cost management solutions.

• Strong analytical aptitude and proficiency in data visualization tools (Excel, Power BI, or similar).

• Understanding of FinOps principles and cloud billing structures.

• Exceptional communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions.

• Proficient in English – this position involves daily interactions with global teams, and availability to travel to São Carlos, SP when necessary.
