Vice President of Coding Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Executive Vice President to define strategic direction.

• Spearhead the creation and execution of business processes that enhance coding efficiency.

• Oversee both domestic and international coding operations.

• Manage daily activities related to coding operations.

• Develop communication and relationship management practices with clients.

• Track individual and departmental performance against set KPIs.

• Work alongside the technology development team to automate business processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Health Information Management or a related field.

• RHIT certification required; relevant coding certifications are a plus.

• 12-15 years of management experience in a coding production environment.

• Proven leadership skills and effective communication abilities.

• Experience leading or collaborating within a global production team.

• Track record of success in managing complex client engagements at multiple levels.

• Proficient in computer and software skills, including Google Workspace, encoder/grouper, and EHRs.
