VP of Innovation – Integration Platform and Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the product roadmap for Redzone’s Integration Platform and Redzone Analytics.

• Establish priorities, sequence the delivery process, and ensure both products provide consistent, scalable value to customers.

• Manage Horizon 3 as an investment portfolio, overseeing 3–5 innovation spikes each year.

• Lead the charge in visual and physical AI to enhance production efficiency, minimize quality loss, manage changeovers, reduce downtime, and facilitate co-bot collaboration.

• Transform successful innovation spikes into fully scaled core products.

• Develop a handoff discipline to transition winning Horizon 3 initiatives into the core roadmap.

• Guide engineering talent and form teams that execute the roadmap while operating an innovation lab.

• Navigate the ambiguity of Horizon 3 while upholding commitments to the Horizon 1 roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of IT/OT innovation experience in the manufacturing sector.

• Proven history of delivering technology that has transformed plant operations.

• Extensive hands-on experience with QAD, SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, and Infor ERP systems.

• Familiarity with MES, WMS, and connected worker platforms along with their integrations on the plant floor.

• Demonstrated experience in leading both product and engineering teams.

• Direct involvement in building or implementing computer vision or physical AI in industrial or production settings.

• Knowledge of predictive maintenance and machine health, including sensor data, IoT, and failure prediction models.

• Understanding of world models, digital twins, or simulation for operational or industrial systems.

• Capability to manage an innovation portfolio by formulating hypotheses, swiftly terminating unsuccessful initiatives, and scaling successful ones.

• Executive presence in uncertain innovation environments and roadmap commitment discussions.

• A pragmatic, execution-focused approach to operations.
